SPEAR for Homeschoolers

SPEAR aims to ignite both passion and opportunity for public speaking for students in any environment. We seek to bridge the gap between the benefits of traditional and non-traditional schooling. One area we hope to see increased involvement in is homeschooling: see why. Here are several ways that our organization can help homeschooled students:

  • Curriculum — with both personal-and-group-based curriculums, SPEAR gives tools for homeschooled students to learn individually as well as in groups.

  • Competitions — with submissions in a video format, our competitions offer a chance for highschoolers to win awards and explore public speaking with real monetary prizes.

  • Donations — funding towards our organization is primarily redirected to pay for public speaking resources (such as Chromebooks, notebooks, and pens) for students that cannot afford it. Let us know if you need these resources or if you want to provide an entirely tax-deductible donation to supply others.

  • Community — all chapters get access to an exclusive community with opportunities to attend online events and meet others.

  • Email Planning — as an extension of our local SPEAR club, we will give all chapters access to emails to help plan your meetings and lessons.

All of these resources are readily available for organizations and homes that start a chapter for free. Simply contact us, and we will guide you on how to found your chapter.
